Sheet music
- 1Father, hear the pray’r we offer:Nor for ease that pray’r shall be,But for strength, that we may everLive our lives courageously. Not forever by still watersWould we idly, quiet stay; But would smite the living fountainsFrom the rocks along our way.
- 2Be our strength in hours of weakness,In our wand'rings be our guide;Thru endeavor, failure, danger,Father, be Thou at our side.Let our path be bright or dreary,Storm or sunshine be our share;May our souls in hope unwearyMake Thy work our ceaseless pray’r.Amen.
