Sheet music
- 1Without hope or God I was down in sin,Drifting farther on in misery;Jesus spoke, I heard and accepted Him,Praise His matchless name, He lifted me.He lifted me He lifted me(He lifted me, He lifted me,)From sin and set me free; The blessed Son, the Son of God(The blessed Son, the Son of God)Reached down and lifted me.
- 2Now the light shines in where there once was sin,And the heav’nly home-path I can see;Blessed promise, I have the hope within,Of that home, since Jesus lifted me.He lifted me He lifted me(He lifted me, He lifted me,)From sin and set me free; The blessed Son, the Son of God(The blessed Son, the Son of God)Reached down and lifted me.
- 3I rejoice and sing, daily foll’wing Him,Since He saved me and the light I see;Wash’d and made anew, cleans’d from ev’ry stain,I’m so glad my Savior lifted me.He lifted me He lifted me(He lifted me, He lifted me,)From sin and set me free; The blessed Son, the Son of God(The blessed Son, the Son of God)Reached down and lifted me.
