Sheet music

  1. 1If for the prize we have striven,After our labors are o'er,Rest to our souls will be given,On the eternal shore.Home of the soul,(Home of the soul, beautiful home,) blessed kingdom of light,(there we shall rest, never to roam;)Free from all care,(Free from all care, happy and bright,) and where falleth no night!(Jesus is there, He is the light!)
  2. 2Oft in the storm,(Oft in the storm, lonely are we,) we are sighing for Thee,(sighing for home, longing for Thee,)Beautiful home of the ransomed, beside the crystal sea.(crystal sea, the crystal sea.)Home of the soul,(Home of the soul, beautiful home,) blessed kingdom of light,(there we shall rest, never to roam;)Free from all care,(Free from all care, happy and bright,) and where falleth no night!(Jesus is there, He is the light!)
  3. 3Yes, a sweet rest is remainingFor the true children of God,Where there will be no complaining,Never a chast’ning rod.Home of the soul,(Home of the soul, beautiful home,) blessed kingdom of light,(there we shall rest, never to roam;)Free from all care,(Free from all care, happy and bright,) and where falleth no night!(Jesus is there, He is the light!)
  4. 4Soon, the bright homeland adorning,We shall behold the glad dawn;Lean on the Lord till the morning,Trust till the night is gone.Home of the soul,(Home of the soul, beautiful home,) blessed kingdom of light,(there we shall rest, never to roam;)Free from all care,(Free from all care, happy and bright,) and where falleth no night!(Jesus is there, He is the light!)
