Sheet music

  1. 1When the trumpet shall sound,And the dead shall arise,And the splendors immortalShall envelope the skies,When the angel of deathShall no longer destroy,And the dead shall awakenIn the morning of joy.In the morning of joy,In the morning of joy,We'll be gathered to gloryIn the morning of joy;In the morning of joy,In the morning of joy,We'll be gathered to gloryIn the morning of joy.
  2. 2When the King shall appear,In His beauty on high,And shall summon His childrenTo the courts of the sky,Shall the cause of the LordHave been all your employ,That your soul may be spotlessIn the morning of joy?In the morning of joy,In the morning of joy,We'll be gathered to gloryIn the morning of joy;In the morning of joy,In the morning of joy,We'll be gathered to gloryIn the morning of joy.
  3. 3Oh, the bliss of that mornWhen our loved ones we meet,With the songs of the ransomedWe each other shall greet,Singing praise to the Lamb,Thru eternity's years,With the past all forgottenWith its sorrows and tears. In the morning of joy,In the morning of joy,We'll be gathered to gloryIn the morning of joy;In the morning of joy,In the morning of joy,We'll be gathered to gloryIn the morning of joy.
