What scripture says
Bible verses about love
Scripture does not begin with our love for God but with his for us: he loved first, and gave his Son. From there it describes love as something done more than felt — patient, kind, keeping no record of wrongs — and promises that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ.
